Sorbian, also known as Wendish or Lusatian, is a Slavic language
spoken in Lusatia, the southeastern-most part of Germany. Although
surrounded by German speakers for centuries, the Sorbs have preserved
their language.
This dictionary covers the Upper Sorbian written language, mainly
spoken northwest of the city of Bautzen, and is a wonderful reference
for anyone who is interested in Wendish heritage, as well as a valuable
addition to any Slavic language library.
