The winding journey on the deep blue lake stops in the middle of a splendidly colored array of stone: reddish-brown Navajo Sandstone, white Entrada Sandstone and other colored stones and rocks that indicate the ancient geology of the landscape. Rainbow Bridge is an almost circular stone rainbow, 88 metres high and 84 metres Wide and everyone who witnesses these natural formations cannot help but be overwhelmed by their grand and majestic proportions, so massive that they defy the imagination. The wonders of a Man-made reservoir and the amazing result of erosion are of spectacular contrast in this glorious area of the United States.
