You learn about the fragile balance of man and nature as we tour the land and waters of John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. The video takes you out on the water, under the water, through the mangrove creeks, and deep into the largest hardwood hammocks in the United States. We will also take you to places rarely seen by the visiting public. Lands so delicate that the balance of nature was nearly lost. Now the State is giving this living treasure a chance to return to a natural state that hasn't been seen in the Keys for nearly a century. Along the way you will learn a great deal about the ecosystem that exists at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park.
