DVD. Media Lab. 80 Minutes. In the lower ranges of the Alps there is a rack railway operating 2,000 meters above sea level. The steam engines operating this line were built between 1897 to 1902 and are still in daily use. Through steep and difficult terrain, the railway climbs 1,200 meters. Two tunnel systems have to be passed until it reaches the top of the mountain. Have a look at the newest rail car as well. Enjoy this beautiful ride through the marvelous mountains of the Austrian Alps.
